The Senior Investment Analyst will work with the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and Managing Directors to monitor and shape investments in multiple asset classes, as well as make recommendations on and oversee a small portfolio of managers or a grouping of managers. Working in a fast-paced environment, supports the team in financial modeling, trading and rebalancing the portfolios, performing economic analysis and other projects. This caregiver supports our investment functions across diverse teams, including credit, equity and venture investments. You will become part of a structured growth continuum designed to foster long-term career progression.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Perform in-depth portfolio and fund-level analyses, offering insights for decision-making.
Engage in cross-portfolio research, evaluating macroeconomic trends and strategic opportunities (e.g., exploring seed investments in emerging markets).
Support principals in managing relationships and advancing investment strategies.
Participate in idea generation, market research and analysis activities that create actionable investments in multiple asset classes.
Build financial models to adequately assess and support the underwriting of investment themes and individual managers from both a risk and return perspective.
Make recommendations to add or remove investment managers after significant due diligence and maintain relationship for them once added to the portfolio.
Maintain quantitative and qualitative manager performance activity and holdings within the Clinic’s internal database.
Collaborate with the risk management team at the inception of a new investment to develop elevated governance and oversight and agree to boundaries and escape plans for individual investments and/or investment themes.
Evaluate ongoing risk for existing investments.
Participate in idea generation, market research and analysis activities that create actionable investments in multiple asset classes as a part of the Investment Office generalist model
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or another related field
Five years of relevant professional experience in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, or Asset Management
Can perform complex research and analysis
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat, FactSet, and Bloomberg
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematical Sciences, Data Analytics, or other related fields
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA)
