Key Responsibilities:

The Sr. Analyst – Engine Maintenance Planning and Analytics conducts data analysis and program modeling for all engine and APU types. In collaboration with the Engine Maintenance Management (EMM) team, Engineering, and other partners, the Senior Analyst develops forecast models for current and future engine programs and provides input to the end users (e.g., Network Planning, Fleet, Global Procurement, Finance, EMM). Additional responsibilities may include partnering with a cross-functional team within Tech Ops, Finance, and Global Procurement to handle engine parts inventory. Up to 20% travel is required.

Develop, implement, and maintain agile long-term engine/APU forecastsProvide project management by tracking, analyzing, and reporting on current and/or future engine/APU part inventoryPerforms ad-hoc data analysis and modeling of engine programs to support end users across the organizationFind opportunities to automate data collection, monitoring, and other workflows, creating solutionsAudit and review data for accuracy and implement corrections as appropriatePrepare reports for partner updates

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Data Analytics, Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance3+ years’ experience in the aviation and/or aerospace industry3+ years’ of engineering / business / supply chain work experienceProficiency in performing sophisticated analyses or modelsSkilled in computer programming languages and database systems such as (but not limited to) Python, Psypark, Java Script, SQL, HTML, R, and/or VBAAbility to communicate both verbally and in writing, tailoring delivery to technical and non-technical audiencesStrong organizational and continuous improvement skillsAbility to lead sophisticated workload to accomplish assignments and projects with limited supervisionProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelHandle projects with multiple partnersMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the positionWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):Master's degree or equivalent experienceMS or equivalent experience Engineering, MBA, MS Data AnalyticsLean Process Improvement (e.g. Six Sigma Green Belt)Project management experience by leading teams through indirect influence3+ years’ experience in aircraft or engine maintenance managementExperience using statistical analysis tools for forecastingProcess improvement experienceStrong aviation business insightDetailed understanding of jet engine maintenance and componentsProficiency in Palantir/FoundryAnalytics using structured and unstructured data, including statistical inference, parametric and non-parametric predictive models, machine learning, natural language processing
