Senior Analyst - Global Ocean Logistics

+ Conduct logistics network studies based on Bills of Materials (BOMs) to identify and optimize ocean lane setups.
+ Develop and implement the network setup for all imported parts.
+ Collaborate with purchasing to secure ocean lane contracts within specified timelines.
+ Ensure timely setup of trading company accounts.
+ Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of ocean and air carriers, identifying and implementing cost reduction strategies.
+ Achieve all inbound logistics launch metric targets.
+ Collaborate with Supply Chain Management (SCM) to resolve shipment delays caused by carriers.
+ Support inventory optimization initiatives.
+ Manage the day-to-day operations of import logistics for all markets, ensuring zero line stoppages.
+ Maintain expertise in ocean-related documentation.
+ Demonstrate an innovative mindset regarding ocean logistics.
+ Leverage knowledge of ocean transit times, ports, weather patterns, and geopolitical issues to optimize transit times and minimize disruptions.
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering (or related field) required; MBA preferred.
+ Demonstrated expertise in ocean freight, including documentation, contract negotiation, and carrier management.
+ Proven ability to develop and implement cost-effective logistics strategies.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency in supply chain management principles and practices.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
+ Knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance requirements.
