Senior Analyst I - Client Analytics
As a Senior Analyst I, you will be key in quantifying and communicating the value of Included Health to our clients. This position plays a crucial role within the Growth & Retention Insights team. Growth & Retention Insights consists of 5 team members. This team sits within the larger Insights for Business Excellence team that is part of the Business Acceleration Organization.Some examples of things you might work on:Developing tailored reporting packages to support our business review and strategy meetings with a book of 2-4 clientsDiving deep into our data platform to answer client-centric performance and value questionsScaling insightful analyses to deliver to the market (e.g., to prospective clients, to consultants/brokers, etc.), supporting our growthPartnering with teams across the company to to support cross functional efforts like ensuring new product features and underlying data are incorporated into data pipelines and reporting workflows
We predominantly use SQL, Python, Looker, and Google Workspace tools to complete and share our work. We primarily use Jira, Confluence, Github, and Slack for communicating, collaborating, and managing our work and documentation. Join us in driving impactful decisions and fostering our business and client relationships!Responsibilities:Engage as a collaborative partner to the Client Success team and other Go To Market functions to meet client reporting needs, demonstrating the value of our servicesTranslate findings of complex analyses into actionable recommendations for clients; Support our Client Success team in delivering those results during live client meetingsPartner with cross functional teams to resolve key data blockers that may limit the ability to deliver on analytic requestsDevelop robust, efficient, and integrated data models, analyses, and dashboardsClearly and succinctly document and maintain said documentation of repeatable processes and analyses for the benefit of future reference and peer knowledge sharingOccasional travel to client sites for business review meetings and company offices for strategy and team building meetingsRequired Qualifications:Expert proficiency in SQL: You write clean and efficient code and review team member’s code with high attention to detail and a critical eyeExposure to Python for data analysis or automation Intermediate proficiency using a data visualization / BI tool to publish interactive dashboards for internal partners and external clientsDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projectsStrong attention to detail and eagerness to learn new analytical approachesExcellent written and verbal skills to communicate to and build trust with peers, clients, and other key internal and external stakeholdersComfort with ambiguity and defining an approach to a given question or problemExperience working with various types of raw data including (but not limited to) medical/Rx claims data, eligibility data, product data, and survey dataExperience creating thoughtful analyses leveraging complex data and presenting the results to clients and other key stakeholdersA minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experienceKnowledge of the employer-sponsored health space and/or working with health plans serving commercial populations is a plus but not requiredValued Qualifications:Experience with LookerExperience with Google Workspace tools, Salesforce.com platforms and data, Slack, Jira, Confluence, Github, and Jupyter notebooksPhysical/Cognitive Requirements:Ability to effectively communicate and engage with others, with accommodations available for visual or auditory impairmentsAbility to respond effectively to changing situations, with accommodations available for varying response times.Ability to form a plan for execution of a particular analysis or deliverableFacilitate communication and collaboration with clients and stakeholders.Attention to detail as applied to analytics requests and review prior to delivery of resultsCritical thinking skillsCuriosityStrong verbal and written communication skillsAdaptability to changing prioritiesAbility to maintain focus and attention on tasks, with accommodations available for individuals with attention-related conditions.Prompt and regular attendance at assigned work location.Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., lifting a computer / laptop) may be required.Ability to interact with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:
Zone A: $85,320 - $110,910 + equity + benefits  Zone B: $98,118 - $127,547 + equity + benefits  Zone C: $106,650 - $138,638 + equity + benefits  Zone D: $110,916 - $144,183 + equity + benefits  
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for candidates based on their respective Zone. Below is additional information on Included Health's commitment to maintaining transparent and equitable compensation practices across our distinct geographic zones.
Starting base salary for the successful candidate will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include, but not limited to, education; training; skill set; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; business needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and alignment with geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone's unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and competitive compensation based on their roles and locations.
