The Cost Analyst for Internal Costing within GCOE is responsible for technical and economical valuation of concepts and engineering changes of automotive interior, esp. instrument panels, door panels and center consoles, including latest technologies and materials:

 

The IReC Cost Analyst is responsible for settling of all the work packages of the function according to the current version of the program management system (PMS). Among the tasks mentioned in PMS, the Cost Analyst has the following main tasks and responsibilities:Support analysis of RFQs and calculation requestsReading and interpretation of engineering drawingsValidation of technical and economical feasability Analysing of  industrial flowchart proposed by Industrial Strategy in consideration of PMSPreparation of industrial flowcharts followed by validation with Industrial Strategy Valuation of production costs for manufacturing based on production volume and assembly following Faurecia Interior Systems principles.Elaboration of costing files for determination of cost and support to Sales departmentSupport the elaboration of pricing files in the relevant OEM template Verification of offers / purchase prices for Bought out Parts (BoP), their valuation of

manufacturing and assembly for determination of Target Cost

Integration of asset investment, logistic and tooling costs in the costing fileCommunication of costing results to interface functions (Controlling, Program Manager,

 Purchasing, Sales)

Valuation of ECR (Engineering Change Requests) and integration in costing filesRegular actualisation of costing filesTracking and illustration of costing results developmentElaboration of cost comparisons for preparation of Make or Buy decisionsConditioning of costing results for management presentationsRespect the delivery and Quality commitments for the output of work packagesFoster & develop a strong network with the CBUs across the Globe to improve collaboration and communication

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Engineering or Diploma, with a specialisation in Automotive ProductionMinimum 6-12 years in an industrial environment including a first technical experience (production, manufacturing engineering,…)Technical products orientedDemonstrated strong communication, analytical and synthesis skillsFluent in 2 languages including englishGerman language proficiency preffered
