About the role

The Republic of Ireland Senior Finance Analyst will meaningfully contribute to performance reporting and retail/pharmacy analysis which delivers insight and supports decision-making. You will help partner the business and be an important support to both the finance manager and senior finance manager, and the wider finance team.

In addition to providing the business with high quality and insight led analysis, the finance analyst will help support the Budgeting, 3YP and CSR process and broaden the finance teams partnering reach to provide much needed support to our Marketing teams and pricing/promotion lead.

About the opportunity:

Provide clear and insightful reporting on the trends and drivers affecting performance across the departmentSupport financial planning processes (in year performance, financial forecasts and budget) across the department in a collaborative manner trying to find input and engaging central FP&A, business partners and financial control teams to ensure rigorous and robust financial planning.Be a link between multiple Finance teams – i.e. Financial Control, Central FP&A and Transformation to close month end promptly with clear articulation of performance across the departmentPricing and Promotional analysis, supporting ROI commercial manager with competitor and market reportingAd Hoc analysis/reporting for interventions and other retail/store projectsLead CSR process for ROI linking in with UK teams and Irish stakeholders to ensure agreement and accuracy of dataSupport creation and analysis of property budget for business unit.Responsibility to ensure governance/adherence to our control environment including SOX

 

What you’ll need to have

Part Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or qualified via experienceYou will have excellent communication and relationship-building leadership skills, in order to foster a collaborative culture and positively influence our performanceAnalytical skills combined with commercial experience to produce insight from multiple data sourcesYou will have resilience, with ability to manage multiple priorities
