Senior Analyst-Pharmacy 340B Program
Summary Works under the direct supervision of the System 340B Manager which includes detailed auditing of data, review of split billing software, implementation and assistance with all areas of the program to ensure compliance and integrity of the program. Perform all other assigned duties. Responsibilities + Audits-performs audits of hospital and contract pharmacy claims. This includes evaluating patient eligibility for qualified and non-qualified patients in mixed use areas and clinics by reviewing medical records, insurance plans and hospital status. Ensure compliance with 340B Program for qualified patients, drugs and locations. Performs any additional audits needed for preparation of HRSA audit. Assist with the supervision of other 340B analysts and technicians to ensure tasks are being completed and documented + Split Billing duties- ?Develop a thorough understanding of the split-billing system and the functions to be performed. ?Assist 340B Management with educating others involved in the purchasing process to ensure proper operation and compliance. ?Provide each buyer with information needed to place orders using the appropriate accounts (e.g., WAC, GPO, and 340B) to replenish inventory in the mixed-use inventory setting. ?Coordinate purchasing for split inventory within internal pharmacies. ?Review and assist with crosswalk maintenance + Completes assigned goals. + Education + Purchasing: ?Monitor inventory purchasing processes for the applicable inpatient and outpatient pharmacies. ?Monitor ordering processes to ensure DSH entities comply with GPO Prohibition. ?Assist with any credit/rebills or other billing needs. ?Monitor 340B pricing to ensure correct prices are loaded on the appropriate accounts Requirements, Preferences and Experience Experience Preferred: Preferred experience with medication list and medical records in EPIC. Experience with McKesson Connect reporting and ordering. Two years experience in a hospital pharmacy including understanding of mixtures and automatic dispensing devices. Preferred experience with 340B split billing software and compliance of the program. Power Point experience. Minimum: Minimum one year experience as a pharmacy technician with purchasing. inventory control and pharmacy software experience. Certified Pharmacy Technician License. Excel and Word experience.
