**Job Purpose and Summary:**
Visual Merchandising is a dynamic team within Retail Innovation and Store Design aimed to support the business and our retail colleagues while partnering with the Merchandising Team to develop Category Merchandising Plans. Keeping our customers at the heart of everything we do, the Visual Merchandising Team will collaborate across various stakeholder groups including but not limited to; Merchandising, Store Operations, Inventory, Marketing and Pricing to create innovative merchandising solutions.
This position will support the design, analysis, strategy development and execution of merchandising solutions. Developing a merchandising strategy in partnership with the Category Manager to achieve the category goals.
**Responsibilities**
1. Partner with the Category Management Group to develop a category strategy to achieve the category goals. Ensure the category merchandise strategy plan and execution of that plan across all main and alternate versions of planograms. (25%)
2. Perform analysis using Tableau, Category MAP and Extra Care data to identify best merchandising solutions, clustering, product positioning and space allocation. (15%)
3. Determine correct product facing strategy to ensure planogram holding capacity to customer satisfaction and sales are optimized. (15%)
4. Analyze competitor’s product display techniques and department layouts to benchmark best practices and bring new innovation display concepts and ideas to our company. (10%)
5. Review and analyze marketing data to integrate supplier ideas to develop best in class planograms. (10%)
6. Creatively merchandise product and identify sales opportunities in order to maximize sales. (10%)
7. Educate store personnel through communication with regard to planogram implementation and product presentation strategies. (10%)
8. Assist in the training and development of new support staff. (5%)
**Education:**
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
**Prior Relevant Work Experience** **:**
Up to 3 years required, 3 to 5 years preferred
**Essential Qualifications and Functions:**
+ 3+ years of retail store management or merchandise display experience
+ 3+ years’ experience analyzing sales, market trend, demographic and competitor assessment data and formulating and communicating successful action plans.
+ 3+ years’ experience using design methodologies, including user research, problem definition, prototype development and iteration, etc.
+ 3+ years’ experience building and delivering leadership-facing presentations and materials
+ 3+ years’ experience analyzing and synthesizing data
+ 3+ years’ experience successfully building reports and dashboards to communicate data trends and forecasts
+ Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills
+ Strong interpersonal skills as demonstrated by successful collaboration to achieve shared goals
+ Strong time management skills, evidenced by experience being accountable to multiple deliverables on staggered deadlines
+ Strong personal integrity and judgment, evidenced by a track record of managing highly-sensitive or highly-visible business matters
+ Strong communication skills in both formal and informal writing and speech
+ Strong ability to build fast, credible relationships with leaders, peers and clients
+ Strong analytical skills with an ability to process data, identify problems, and make effective decisions

+ **Travel** - up to 20% travel may be required, based on needs of the business
**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Ability to plan, coordinate and set priorities on several projects simultaneously while meeting all deadlines.
+ Advance user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
+ Ability to set goals, measure and report on results and adjust plans based on changing internal and external influences.
+ Ability to positively adapt in a changing environment
**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $112,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
