**The team you will be a part of**
The Supply and Logistics team is responsible for keeping the appropriate levels of materials and/or stock supplies with the aim to maximize inventory control and company sales. Organizes deliveries to meet given deadlines and customer expectations. Supervises and tracks the flow of materials and products from suppliers throughout the organization.
**This role in summary**
This position is responsible for identifying and executing strategic initiatives and analyses involving North American import operations from overseas suppliers. Import activity will focus finished goods and involve end to end ownership from point of origin through delivery to final destination. This role will be required to lead strategic projects and perform analyses to drive cost improvement, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
**Your responsibilities will include**
+ Act as a liaison between supplier and Whirlpool internal functions such as but not limited to deployment, production planning, and distribution centers
+ Oversight of Listco KPI Management Operating System (MOS) to include timeliness, accuracy,y and accessibility of KPIs; support corrective actions for Listco to meet or exceed agreed-upon KPIs
+ Create/manage weekly purchase requisitions
+ Design, develop, and manage weekly deployment plans and distribute to all necessary process partners
+ Manage and maintain inbound container priority while working with transportation and warehousing
+ Support data pulls for manual PSI loads and support planner as needed
+ Gather and assemble large amounts of data from multiple sources and perform detailed analyses to drive improvement
+ Lead strategic projects and consult on the best approach on issues with alternative solutions
+ Identify the root cause of issues and put steps in place for resolution
+ Address escalated issues and concerns from process partners
+ Multi-task with various responsibilities, while being accountable for results in a fast-paced environment
**Minimum requirements**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, logistics, business management or related field
+ Project Management skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
+ Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness in seeking resolution
+ Strong analytical skills and the ability to manipulate data from multiple sources
**Preferred skills and experiences**
+ Knowledge related to OEM processes
+ Strong communication skills including formal and informal and both written and verbal
+ Ability to work independently and properly prioritize workloads and other assignments
+ Ability to multi-task in a timely/accurate manner with strong organization skills and close attention to detail
+ Ability to make sound fact-based decisions in a timely manner even in the face of ambiguity
+ Strong knowledge of computers and software including: Google tools and or MS Office apps including Excel
