About you and this roleAs the Senior Analytical Leader, you will lead several teams of professional individual contributors which include technical operations, and operational support employees. Will also lead other supervisors. This role focuses across Louisiana Operations site to optimize the effectiveness of analytical resources and the analytical work process to ensure sustainable, safe, reliable and cost-competitive analytical services are provided across the site and its aligned businesses. You have accountability for setting the Site/Hub Analytical strategy, ensuring all financial targets are met, and through established metrics ensure the performance and results of the team. ResponsibilitiesProvide people leadership for Analytical Operational Leadership and related site analytical roles.Ensure sustained Triple Zero performance for Environmental, Health & Safety across the aligned organization, share learning and timely follow-up on incident investigations.Develop, implement, and track progress of the Site/Hub Analytical Strategy, including related Service Level Agreements.Implement the Analytical Work Process and effective Lab Management Systems across area of scope. Provide leadership of analytical components of ODMS (Sections 5, 6, 7, and 8), with specific focus within Sections 7.09 (Control of Monitoring and measuring Devises) and 7.10 (Monitoring and Measurement of Products).Ensure appropriate resources for site or business-related analytical projects and activities. Includes ensuring resources are in place for method validation/qualification, analytical data management, and analytical work process implementation for newly acquired businesses, labs, and/or product lines.Manage analytical prime controllable expenses and capital planning across scope of interest. Serve as a focal point for procurement, installation, and qualification of analytical equipment at the business or functional level. Ensure delivery of timely, accurate, and sustainable analytical results as per Sample Plans, Service Level Agreements and 3rd Party contracts. At the business level, set and execute the strategy for validation, qualification, and documentation of business analytical methods. At the functional level, lead implementation of new or updated analytical methods.Facilitate the identification of opportunities and implementation of improvements to ensure analytical system performance and reliability. Lead optimization and standardization of analytical Most Effective Technology, operating discipline, and streamlining of analytical work process activities through adoption of best practices in partnership with other functional and business leaders to meet site and business needs.Communicate with business, function, and site roles on development and fulfillment of Service Level Agreements and resolution of identified analytical issues.Lead and participate on global teams and networks in support of continuous improvement of the Analytical Work Process. Communicate value creation for business/site success.QualificationsA minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant (PO2/Sgt) Military ranking. At least 7 years of quality, manufacturing, or related experience required.Demonstrated people and technical leadership abilities.Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain a TWIC card.
