Senior Analytics Consultant
**About the Role:** Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant. Senior Analytics Consultant is a business partner facing role and is responsible for providing reporting and analytic solutions that provide actionable insights to the line of business partners. EABIS is the central analytics group tasked with solving high-impact business challenges and standing up cutting-edge analytical capabilities to be shared across Wells Fargo’s analytic community. We are looking for a high performer to join our team and help us solve challenging and interesting business problems through rigorous data analysis and visualization. In this highly consultative and visible role, you will support business intelligence projects from multiple business lines using various technology and techniques ranging from but not limited to Tableau, Power BI and in multiple data environments (like Teradata, Aster, Oracle, HDFS etc.) **In this role you will:** + Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors + Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs + Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements + Lead or participate on large cross group projects + Mentor less experienced staff + Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals + Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area + The Senior Analytics Consultant will serve as a senior resource for developing and delivering high performing reporting solutions and data analysis + Responsible for planning and performing reporting, analyses and projects to solve a variety of business problems for a department or functional area. + Perform exploratory analysis to identify the co-relations existing in the data and generate insights + Ability to leverage data visualization tools and alternative front-end solutions to delivering data + Capable of performing ad-hoc analyses and drill down into data inconsistencies and perform Root cause analysis for unusual trends + Work closely with Business and Technology Partners to generate new reports or modify current work products to optimize capabilities and improve efficiency. + Follow all quality assurance processes, including periodic reviews and transitions and ensures the end product fulfills the project objectives + Mentoring junior Analysts. + Proactively seek opportunities to increase the value of analysis **Required Qualifications:** + 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education **Desired Qualifications:** + 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling (Tableau, SQL, Python); or a Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling + 4+ years of SQL and Tableau programming experience + Proficient in designing and developing interactive dashboards using Tableau, Power BI. + Strong in using heterogeneous sources for deriving complex KPI’s using Tableau, Power BI + Understand high-level business objectives and continually align the BI/Reporting roadmap to needs of the business. + Experience on other BI tools like MSTR , BO , SSRS, Qlik will have an advantage + Strong oral and written communication and consultative skills + Present findings to multiple levels of management + Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives + Extensive knowledge and understanding of research, analysis, data aggregations, and reconciliation processes + Ability to perform trend Analysis, forecasting and pattern recognition + Exploratory Data analysis and insights + Advanced exploratory data analysis skills using SQL, excel etc. + Experience with data environments like Oracle, Teradata, Sql server, HDFS + Designing and implementing enterprise data and reporting architectures + Data integration and clean up/preparation of data + Experience with structured data and semi-structured text or Excel files + Strong collaboration & problem-solving skills + High energy & strong communication skills (presentation and narrative skills) + Ability to translate analytical data into useful business information + Self-driven and passionate about continuous learning + Ability to learn the business aspects quickly + Knowledge of functional area such as risk, marketing, operations or supply chain in banking industry would be an added advantage. + Ability to multi-task and prioritize between projects, independently or as part of a team **Posting End Date:** 10 Feb 2025 **_*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants._** **We Value Diversity** At Wells Fargo, we believe in diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace;
