Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics professional for it Data Analytics and Reporting team.
In this role, you will:
As part of the Data Insight & Analytics team under Shared Services Operations, this position is responsible for developing data model workflows to generate innovative ideas around the simplification of model deployment. Team member will partner with the Product Owner and team to build dashboards that deliver meaningful analytics and reports.
Team member is expected to be well versed in analytics and BI tools. Specific responsibilities include:
Develop complex analytical models that provide data-driven insights for a wide array of business initiatives.Summarize complex data that addresses client problems to client stakeholders using reporting visuals.Design and implement Power BI reports, visualizations, and dashboards across various topics and define required supporting data architecture.Support the technical build-out of various reporting / BI tools that enable analysis, modeling, and / or advanced data visualization.Transform large complex data into easy-to-understand reports.Partner with key stakeholders to ensure all relevant documentation (e.g. Training materials, Business Procedures, Playbook) is up-to-dateApply problem solving skills to solution and collaboration, offer data driven conclusionsEnsure compliance with the organization's policies and technology standardsAttend and Participate in all Scrum ceremonies including: sprint planning, sprint refinement, daily Scrum, etc.Participate in Software & Hardware deploymentsLead projects and mentor lower level staffThe Data Analytics team leverages the Scrum/Agile methodology to build a highly talented, scalable, and sustainable function for advanced business intelligence tools to strengthen data governance, implement more effective controls and deploy real-time monitoring.
Required qualifications: (Must have)
8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling; or a Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, computer sciences and working/development experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling.4+ years of SQL experience – create SQL scripts. Working experience on SQL Server SSIS, SSRS or SSAS experience would be a plus.4+ years of data analysis experience using one or a combination of tools – Excel, Python, Power BI, Tableau, SQL2+ years of Microsoft Power BI development experience – DAX, Power queryExperience in coding – Logical & Object-oriented Programming - Python, VBA2+ years of working experience in Microsoft advanced tools – Power Automate, Power QueryDesired Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis.Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skill.Ability to pick-up new concepts and skills quicklyWorking Knowledge of GitHubExperience developing executive level dashboards, analytics, and reports from large datasets.Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels.Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and KanbanExperience leading meetings with local and remote attendeesAbility to quickly learn, retain, and apply business rules, processes, and terminology.Good to have qualifications:
