Druva is hiring a Senior/Staff Analytics Engineer to help build new data models, reports/dashboards and Data Apps to drive decision intelligence and data driven culture. As our company grows, this person will build data infrastructure (data models, data architecture, data apps, data governance) that brings together tech, product, and operational functions and informs strategic decision making at the executive level.

What You'll Do

Weave data into decision-making and drive cross-functional data-oriented approaches and solutions and data activation workflows Ensure consistency and quality through metrics, documentation, processes, data testing, and training. Manage incoming data requests and prioritize the highest value projects in an organized fashion Help scale our data models (DBT, Snowflake, Sigma) Own maintenance/scale/performance of analytic databases (e.g. Snowflake, AWS). Use your master SQL/Python skills to craft cutting edge data solutions for both BI/DW and Data Apps/AI Use Cases  Punch through ambiguity and a growing level of complexity when it comes to our organization's data Communicate data-backed findings to a diverse constituency of internal and external stakeholders Contribute to Architectural stack analysis to scale DataOps, Data Management, Data strategy (Reverse ETL, Operational Analytics, MDM/Customer 360, Advanced Analytics, Generative AI/ML, Data Apps/Data Fabric)

What We're Looking For

5+ years in a data engineer or SQL/Python-heavy data analyst role (high-growth startup environments highly preferred) Track record of success in building new data engineering processes and an ability to work through ambiguity Demonstrated ability to work across disparate teams to achieve consensus on key business decisions Ability to build logical and physical data models, data mappings, data flows, data architecture and data dictionaries Expert-level SQL/Python skills Experience with SDLC and associated Development Operations processes (JIRA/Confluence/Freshservice) to intake, prioritize, track and deploy solutions Intellectual curiosity and research abilities and willingness to roll up your sleeves and fix data problems in a hands-on manner With the above stated, we are open to candidates of all backgrounds and encourage you to apply if interested! The pay range for this position is expected to be between $135,000 and $189,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized, non-discriminatory factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, and equity. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits program, including health and wellness benefits, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
