We’re looking for a Senior API Support Specialist to join our Premium Support Specialist Team at Global Payments AU/NZ. This role is crucial in providing high-level support to software development partners and merchants, ensuring seamless API integrations across our payment products and services.
What You’ll Be Doing:
API Support & Troubleshooting – Be the go-to technical expert for API integrations, resolving issues efficiently and ensuring a smooth customer experience;Customer Engagement – Collaborate with software partners, merchants, and developers to optimise API functionality and enhance user experience;Documentation & Best Practices – Maintain clear, developer-friendly API documentation and contribute to ongoing improvements;Innovation & Security – Design and develop scalable, secure API solutions, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices;Collaboration – Work closely with product managers, development teams, and stakeholders to align API solutions with business needs.About youYou are a curious and tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for APIs, customer experience, and troubleshooting complex technical challenges. You thrive on investigating issues, sharing insights, and creating seamless user experiences. Personable and analytical, you enjoy working closely with customers and stakeholders to optimise API functionality.
What you’ll bring:
4+ years of experience in API technologies or technical support;Strong REST API knowledge and troubleshooting expertise;Excellent customer service and communication skills – you’ll be working closely with partners and merchants;Ability to write and understand SQL queries for data analysis;Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset with a proactive attitude.Software development experience (preferred but not required).Experience in high-volume transactional environments is nice to have.Knowledge of PCI DSS compliance and enterprise software solutions however not essential. SalaryThe salary range for this role is $85, 000 - $90, 000 per annum + superannuation.
