The Opportunity:
LATTEART is the agency's implementation of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF). LATTEART is a series of applications that fill in various gaps of the agency's RMF needs to include System Registration, Exemption Tracking, Patch Management, and System Monitoring. System Monitoring makes up the bulk of the work LATTEART does on a day-to-day basis. However, this distribution of applications, in conjunction with external partner apps results in difficulties for users navigating the RMF process. The current process forces users to jump from website to website filling out different pieces of information.
LATTEART is tasked with creating a unified RMF infrastructure that can hold the entire process in one location.

Responsibilities:
The DevOps Engineer will facilitate infrastructure management, continuous integration, environment configuration on and deployment as well as supporting the project’s compliance and security posture.
The team member shall focus on delivering the automation that enables all the other teams to operate smoothly.

The Application Engineer will be heavily involved with the creation, maintenance, and running of Pig and or PySpark analytics and is responsible for reviewing data ingest tickets and merge requests with other developers on the team.
The application engineer is focused on delivering reliable, accurate data to the end users as well as ensuring that day-to-day operations are successful. Including being able to investigate data arriving accurately into the system.

Qualifications:
Required:
Strong background in analytics development
Pig
PySpark
Linux system administration
Docker
Python scripting
AWS or other cloud experience
GitLab Pipeline
Ansible

Education:
12 years minimum experience and a High school Diploma/GED
10 years minimum experience and an Associate’s degree
8 years minimum experience and a Bachelor’s degree
6 years minimum experience and a Master’s degree
4 years minimum experience and a Doctorate’s degree

All experience and education will be in a technical field directly related to the labor category being proposed and all diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees will be from accredited institutions.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$94,400 - $198,300
