Job Summary:
The Application Engineer for the Feeding Unit, Handling System, and Electric Automation will provide technical expertise, customer support, and customized solutions for the company’s automation and handling systems in China and Korea. This role requires a tried technical background in electric automation, feeding units, and handling systems and experience in application engineering and customer interactions within the automation industry. The Application Engineer will work closely with sales, R&D, and product teams to meet client needs and support project implementations.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Technical Support & Solution Development: Act as the primary technical contact for feeding units, handling systems, and electric automation solutions, guiding customers in product selection, system design, and fixing. Develop tailored solutions to address specific client needs, considering operational requirements, environmental conditions, and budget constraints. Work alongside the sales team to create compelling technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations. Application Engineering & Product Expertise: Serve as a domain guide for feeding unit, handling, and automation systems, advising on applications and standard methodologies. Conduct site visits to evaluate customer needs, assess existing setups, and provide recommendations for improvements or new installations. Communicate reliably to customer regarding feeding system concept/ user documentation, including system specifications, wiring diagrams, configuration manuals, and solving guides. Independently configure handling system/electrical motion concept using SolidWorks and system cycle time calculations as well as quotations. Customer Training & Support: Deliver training programs and workshops to customers, ensuring their teams are proficient in feeding unit operation, maintenance, and safety procedures, handling systems, and electric automation. Develop customized training materials and user guides tailored to the local requirements of China. Assist customers with solving and resolving technical issues, either remotely or on-site as required. Project Implementation & Management: Support project implementation from the initial design phase to final deployment, coordinating with both internal teams and customers to ensure perfect execution. Supervise installation and testing of systems, ensuring they meet both technical specifications and customer expectations. Work with multi-functional teams to ensure timely delivery, alignment on project turning points, and high-quality project outcomes. Responsible for execution of FAT and if needed SAT for feeding system projects Product Development & Market Insights: Provide market feedback and insights collected from customer interactions to product management and R&D teams, assisting in future product development and innovation. Stay updated on industry trends, driven products, and new technologies within electric automation and handling systems to continually improve technical expertise. Multi-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, and product development teams to drive product adoption and meet customer needs. Work with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure the availability and timely delivery of products for customer projects.Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field. 3-5 years of experience in application engineering, technical support, or a similar role within the automation industry, specifically with feeding units, handling systems, and electric automation. Strong technical knowledge of feeding units, robotic handling, and electric automation systems, including hands-on experience with system design and solving. Familiarity with industry standards, automation protocols, and safety laws in China and Korea.Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain sophisticated technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
