Senior Application Engineer II

Job Summary

Join our Middle East and Africa team as a Senior Application Engineer and use your engineering skills and Fisher Software to prepare engineering solutions for Control valves to both large EPC projects/Regional MRO business support for our clients/sales offices. You will also be responsible to prepare techno-commercial offers and address technical queries.

 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Understand project guidelines and prepare quote meeting all customer requirements.    Clarify doubts on technical specifications/project guidelines through conference calls with Sales office/impact partner/FCEC senior Engg. Review project specifications and contribute to project guidelines form. Understand and document LBP/Customer specific guidelines for quotations. Prepare Technical and Commercial Quote, technical deviations list and generate reports and drawings.  Correspond with LBPs/Sales offices as and when required for any clarifications to maintain a good understanding.    Provide support on project revisions from customer.  Support Sales office after the issue of PO and prepare transaction for order entry.      Provide technical support for OE /factory clarifications and assist with change orders.  Established as one of the contact points for specific Sales/LBP to send projects. Diligently maintain and report records of all work done. Check quotations based on MIB strategy made by less experienced engineers and document errors and act as a mentor in the team Monitor RDSL, PDSL, Productivity & RFT performance for the sales/regional teams supported Analyse RFQ scope & resource availability and commit to a deadline Handle internal training programs Readiness for Inhouse engineer support Able to handle all severe service applications Independently handle Quote to commit process Experienced to handle TBE meetings with customers independently.

For This Role, You Will Need:

A degree in engineering field. In-depth on knowledge and experience of control valves sizing & selection. Good interpersonal and communication skills Creating portfolios as evidence for your competency element as part of structured continued further education in engineering. Awareness of internal and industry standards as related to position responsibility. Adequate understanding of project specifications and commercial terms. Optimizes work processes and improves performance metrics (Preferred).

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

 

Degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering. Strong interpersonal skills and able to pitch the solution for applications.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ready to take up any new challenges.  7+ yrs Experience in Handling large projects and Inhouse engineering experience.
