We are looking for an Experienced Application Specialist with proven track record of independently managing project teams and making an impact with customers. You will be based at our São Paulo Innovation Center. You will play a crucial role in supporting sales and product development of Cultures & Dairy enzymes for Fresh dairy segment .

You will work closely with a regional team of application specialists and be part of a broader global application team. In this position, will assist the organization with environmental and regulatory product issues, product improvements, competitive positioning of existing product offering and new business product developments. He will work closely with R&D, Business Unit and Marketing by providing voice of customers relative to product performance and expectations of product attributes.
 

In this role, the Senior Application Specialist works locally in Brazil and regionally at Latin America , utilizing established internal and external customer networks to share and leverage on products and techniques in the Dairy. You will act as a leader and collaborator, training junior team members, and contributes to regional and global technical strategy projects and innovation programs, working independently on tasks with responsibility for high value, must-win projects.

Your main focus will be:

Independently navigates projects from start to finish, and acts as a project leader in teamsProactive in using dairy ingredients and portfolio knowledge.High level knowledge of recipe ingredients, raw materials and their functionalities in the Dairy segment.Develop and improve finished product formulations using knowledge of industrial standards, country specific, and client requirementsResearch, refining, and upgrading solutions for client projectsMaintains and continuously renovates recipe databaseDevelops products / customers preferences and ensure concept/ submission alignment internally and at customerDrives usage of new technology, promoting benefits and commercial applications for customers.Engage management to obtain appropriate resources or expertise.Mentor trainees and more junior application colleaguesEducation and relevant experience requirements:MSc with 9+ years or PhD with 6 + years of experience in Dairy Science, Food Engineering, or Dairy Technologist.
