Senior Applications Operations Analyst

Summary of This Role

Engages in support, analysis, documentation, and monitoring of proprietary and 3rd party software applications used in delivering the solutions available through the ProPay Platform. Participation in application software or infrastructure updates while ensuring that company standards and policies are followed and risks identified and mitigated. Implements innovative approaches to operational success of the solutions through analysis and improvement of cross-functional areas that impact the platform.

Debugs, maintains and implements applications. Analyzes existing applications or formulates logic for new applications. Maintains and utilizes application and programming documents. Works closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, writes specifications, performs system and data analysis.

Implements and modifies systems and provides testing, troubleshooting and support across systems.

What Part Will You Play?

Collaborates with business and technology teams to implement basic to moderately complex code for internal and external client software solutions. Delivers specifications for solution development and support on multiple projects/issues with an advanced understanding of the application and systems.

Analyzes, modifies, and develops moderately complex testing and response plans in order to develop concise application documentation.

Performs testing and validation for moderately complex code changes.

Follows procedures, methodologies, and application standards to include Payment Card Industry (PCI) security and other compliance requirements.

Provides support to leadership for the design, development and enforcement of business/infrastructure application standards to include associated controls, procedures, and monitoring to ensure compliance and accuracy of data.

Assists with on-the-job training and provides guidance to other developers.

Maintains timely and accurate communication with internal and external stakeholders

Collaborates to triage, escalate and resolve system issues & manage incidents

Implements after-incident action items and improvements

Implements and maintains solutions & related documentation

Collaborates to triage, escalate and resolve system issues & manage incidents, including participation in rotation of on-call responsibilities

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

Relevant Experience or Degree in: Degree in a related field and/or the equivalent in training and experience

Typically Minimum 4 Years Relevant Experience

System development or support in a environment


Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or Engineering

Typically Minimum 4 Years Relevant Experience

Production Support or Project Management experience in enterprise SaaS software, preferable in financial technology; programming experience with scripting, batch job automation, APIs, log research and C#
