Senior Applications Specialist

EFI is looking for a Sr. Applications Specialist in our Londonderry, NH office. In this role, you will serve as the lead liaison for Applications department throughout the product life cycle from pre-alpha through end-of-life. Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of mechanics, usage and marketing requirements for EFI Inkjet Solutions’ product set(s). Conduct, record and publish test plans for product and supported materials. Support the Applications department with production and fulfillment of print sample requests, from preflight to final shipping. Work with sales team (both direct and channel partners) to demonstrate equipment overview, print modes and workflow solutions. Support required tradeshow activities, including configuration, demonstration, special applications and break-down. Travel, both domestic and international may be required

What you will do:

·        Serve as Applications lead for all cross-functional core activities

·        Track all Applications action items; ensure timely delivery and reporting to all BU’s

·        Manage Alpha Test Plan activities

·        Work closely with Engineering, Development and Marketing teams throughout PLC

·        Accommodate all demonstrations; resolves customer inquiries and special requests

·        Professionally communicate, manages and enforces Applications schedules within the Company

·        Escalate all equipment-related issues (defects, mechanical problems, etc) through proper channels and tracks resolution status

·        Serve as site ambassador to all internal/external stakeholders

·        Perform daily housekeeping duties as set forth by department standards

·        Scheduling & workflow to meet targets

·        Materials management within budget parameters

This role might be a good fit if you have:

·        BA/BS in Design and/or business administration preferred

·        3-5 years of print production experience preferred

·        Experience with traditional pre-flighting processes and software

·        Proficiency in PC and MAC environments

·        Excellent project management skills

·        Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects

·        Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to independently analyze alternative solutions and prioritize quickly within tight deadlines

·        Thorough knowledge of print production processes and operations

·        Strong initiative and customer service focus

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong people management and conflict-resolution skills.

·        Ability and willingness to travel, both domestic and international
