Microsoft Ads Fraud Detection operates at the intersection of Security and Machine learning. We design and develop fraud detection algorithms that run at web scale in real time and protect billions of dollars of revenue from fraudsters. Our algorithms need to run in a high precision/ high recall operating point. As a **Senior Applied Scientist, Fraud Detection** on our team in either **Mountain View, C** A or **Redmond, WA** you'll be at the forefront of Fraud research. + You will develop a deep understanding of advertising eco-system at an individual request level and exploit that knowledge systematically to identify new signals that can set fraudsters apart. + You will investigate complex and evolving attacks and develop signals to detect them. Given the large surface area that needs to be protected, you will create tools to allow you to scale and drive high impact. Applied Sciences IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
