Senior Architect

(This position is hybrid and will involve some onsite work in Indianapolis, Indiana)

We are currently seeking an experienced Power BI Data Architect in our fast paced high volume department.  This position will be responsible for overseeing all Power BI workspaces, will run solution review of all Power BI reports, approve all reports before publishing and will be the Power BI expert for the department.  Healthcare experience highly preferred.  High attention to detail and excellent customer experience is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Produces the detail surrounding accepted EA frameworks and logical system designs.  Utilizes guiding principles & architectural policies to produce solution designs that anchor to IT portfolio standards and ensure long-term operational and administrative efficiencies.  Acts as a coach/mentor to engineers, developers and architects throughout the IS organization.  Ensures delivery teams are equipped with the leadership and guidance necessary to successfully deliver their solutions and keeps the enterprise architecture team informed regarding alignment with enterprise standards and guidelines. 

STRONGLY PREFERRED:

5+ years Data Architecture experience 5+ years Power BI experience.  Must be highly skilled in Power BI with ability to manager/oversee 100+ workspaces.   Data governance experience highly preferred. Extensive SQL experience is a must.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.  Demonstrates 5-7 years of development experience plus a minimum of 3 - 5 additional years of specific architecture experience.  Certifications are preferred to help demonstrate depth and breadth of expertise.  Requires extensive experience in architecture design and optimization techniques.  Requires experience leading virtual teams, facilitating constructive debate and driving outcomes within time and budget constraints.
