Burns McDonnell is seeking to hire a Senior Architectural Historian/Cultural Resources Specialist within our Environmental Services Global practice.
The Senior Architectural Historian/Cultural Resources Specialist will lead and support architectural and historic resource studies, surveys, and archival research.
Duties include:
Serving as Principal Investigator for architectural resource documentation and evaluation projects including oversight of Junior Staff (i.e. collecting field data).Coordinating directly with Project Managers and agency staff Writing architectural descriptions.Evaluating resources for NRHP eligibility and assessing effects as required under Section 106 of the NHPA and applicable state preservation laws. Preparing technical reports for a variety of geographic locations under a range of regulatory contexts.All other duties as assigned.
