Senior Architecture Analyst

Amentum is seeking a talented and experienced Architecture Analyst to support the Program Executive Office, Submarines (PEO Submarines), to perform R&D, technology maturation and insertion, analysis, testing, and systems engineering to assess and enhance microelectronics component technologies. This shall include updating and enhancing related microelectronics T&E facilities and laboratories; related capabilities associated with the Navy's FBM system and SWS; and DoD strategic weapons platforms employing advanced and critical microelectronics technologies. The goal is to modify and upgrade legacy microelectronics T&E facilities and technologies as well as develop and integrate the next generation of advanced laboratories, laboratory technology systems, test facilities, and other facilities to include design, development, modification, and stand-up requirements.

**Responsibilities:**
+ The Architecture Analyst II shall analyze, design, evaluate, and plan the Business Architecture & Information Technology Systems Architecture in order to optimize the enterprise information technology architecture.
+ This includes in depth knowledge of the enterprise, logic, systems, programming, and components; and a broad range of knowledge across the agency business, data, technology, applications and organizational views.
+ Provide technical assistance to agency information technology staff.
+ This includes existing and new technology in all areas of information technology such as platform, operations, network, applications and security.
+ Works with the CIO, IT Managers and Project Managers to ensure the architecture as a whole is appropriately linked, being leveraged to maximum benefit and ready for future development.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
+ Requires a bachelor's degree; at least 5-12 years of experience in the field or in a related area
+ Expertise in enterprise architecture, systems design, and IT strategy.
+ Experience executing market research, data analytics, and emerging technology assessments.
+ Proficient in Agile methodologies, rapid prototyping, and trade-off analysis for systems.
+ Knowledgeable of cybersecurity frameworks (RMF, IA) and technology lifecycle management.
+ Strong analytical skills to support strategic planning, training systems, combat readiness, and communication strategies.
+ Ability to work independently.
+ Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite 365.
+ Able to efficiently use the latest reporting, analysis, and communication technology.
+ Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
**HIRING SALARY RANGE:**
$116,000 - $153,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
