Interested in joining us on our journey? We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Area Sales Manager (ASM) to join our team, supporting the Builder Channel. This role is responsible for managing sales activities within assigned contract/builder accounts across Phoenix, AZ, and surrounding areas, with a key focus on: Single Family, Single Family for Rent, Apartment Replacement Distributors, and Multi-Family Customer Segments. As an ASM, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction through quality product delivery. **Position** Senior Area Sales Manager – Builder Channel (Phoenix, AZ) **Location** USA, Phoenix, AZ **How You'll Create Possibilities** **Key Responsibilities:** • Responsible for selling and promoting appliances to new and existing customers, builders, and developers within this market. • Execute and deliver all sales and margin operating plan goals. • Identify new business opportunities and develop marketing strategies to grow the territory with an awareness of potential channel conflicts. • Build strong customer relationships through solution selling and resolve issues that arise. • Analyze market and sales strategy. • Analyze competitive landscape and determine opportunities. • Develop and conduct sales training. • Perform administrative functions to meet deadlines. • Ability to cold call prospective accounts and turn the opportunity from a prospect to a purchasing account **What You'll Bring to Our Team** **Qualifications & Requirements:** **Minimum Qualifications:** + 5+ years of relevant sales experience or completion of the GE Appliances Commercial Development Program. + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field sales/industry experience. + Willingness to reside in Phoenix, AZ and work from a home office. + Strong ability to develop and strengthen customer relationships. + Proven negotiation and closing skills with a results-driven mindset. + Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. + Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience in appliance sales or related industries. + B2B wholesale contractor sales experience (2+ years preferred). + Demonstrated ability to develop, organize, and implement sales plans. + Previous success in cold calling and converting leads into customers. **Working Conditions & Travel Requirements:** + Remote work environment (home office-based). + Up to 60% travel required, including significant drive time for regional customer meetings, team meetings, and business events. + Flexible work hours, with availability aligned to U.S. Eastern Time Zone needs. **Our Culture** Our work is centered on our People and Culture as reflected in our Zero Distance philosophy and we recognize the importance of reaffirming our commitment to inclusion and diversity (I&D).
