Description

The Sr Assembler performs a wide variety of electronic or electromechanical assembly tasks in support of developmental requirements in pre-production projects. 

This is a highly skilled assembly position requiring experience assembling and soldering electrical components, systems and assemblies. 

Responsibilities Perform hand soldering of electronic assemblies, components and systems. Works from rough schematics, blueprints and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components. May perform rework and quality testing. Work typically includes interaction with design, development and/or manufacturing engineering personnel. Experience on components/assemblies, including PCBs and Circuit Boards is required.  Required Experience and Skills High school diploma or equivalent, associated degree in technical field preferred. Two+ years in an equipment and/or process technician role with extensive hands on experience. Knowledge of semiconductor assembly processes including but not limited to die sorting, chip and wire or flip chip die attach, epoxy or solder dispense IPC J-STD-001 Certification Experience with assembly of high power RF products preferred. Demonstrated ability to carry out defined tasks independently with minimum supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $23.41 - $40.72 per hour. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
