Role Overview
The Global Compensation Specialist will define and execute our firm’s Total Rewards strategy. This includes job leveling, compensation benchmarking, career-pathing, as well as executing our merit, bonus, and promotion processes. This is a key position within the People Office Rewards & Analytics team, helping to craft and scale critical compensation practices and processes across all Business Groups and markets at Ankura. This role is ideally based in Gurugram, India, but could potentially be in Mumbai as well.
Responsibilities
Drive compensation strategies across Ankura by evaluating, implementing, and advising on compensation programs.Conducts compensation surveys, job evaluations, and associated analysis to ensure that base pay, incentive pay, variable pay, and other recognition options remain competitive and conform to current compensation strategy.Supports the development, implementation, and administration of annual merit and promotion cycles.Ensures compensation data is entered into Workday consistently and accurately; leads audits and ensures data integrity. Collaborate with Business Group Leaders, People Office, Legal, and Finance regarding benchmarking, pay decisions, and rewards policies, including offers, promotions, etc.Provide consultative support to our People Advisory and People Acquisition teams related to compensation practices that support the talent strategy, address organizational challenges, and support key business priorities.Provide timely support for internal and external audits, data requests, etc. while ensuring the confidentiality of people data, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and GDPR.Monitor country compensation legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.Supports broader Total Rewards projects as needed, including Global Benefits, Workforce Planning, People Analytics & Insights, Recognize@Ankura, etc.Requirements
5+ years of progressive compensation experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionExperience building and executing comprehensive global compensation programsKnowledgeable of all major aspects of compensation delivery and design principlesDemonstrable experience with job architecture frameworks and salary structure designStrong Excel, data collection, and data visualization skillsExecutive presence and presentation skillsCertified Compensation Professional (CCP) or equivalent preferredExperience working in the professional services industry preferredStrong communication, analytical, and human relations skillsSkilled at effectively managing and prioritizing escalations or business-critical situationsConsistently exhibits high levels of discretion, integrity, and confidentialityHybrid - 3 days a week in office
Timings - Day shift but may have to be active till late night for US reporting
