Responsibilities:


As a Senior Associate you will take risks and solve problems. You will display leadership and influence others in our Compliance Consulting business.


•    Assisting on compliance monitoring and testing programs
•    Performing desk-based reviews on client sites to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal procedures
•    Assist in obtaining regulatory license, provide support to act as registered compliance officer and MLRO. 
•    Assisting on reviewing and drafting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with various regulations and legal requirements
•    Writing detailed reports, and participate on client presentations 
•    Liaising with clients for the engagement(s)
•    Assisting the Leadership team in developing proposals, pitch presentations and other Business Development opportunities.
•    Identify additional work that could be provided to the client
•    Work towards timely delivery of assignments

 

Requirements:


•    Minimum experience of 3 – 5 years of relevant work.
•    Knowledge of offshore DFSA and/or FSRA and familiar with SCA, CBUAE and other UAE onshore regulators is ideal. However, experience with FCA, SEC, MAS or other major financial regulators will also be considered.
•    Experience on compliance assessment activities within financial institutions
•    Solid understanding of compliance risk assessments, monitoring activities and governance assessments 
•    Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
•    Strong analytical skills
•    Energetic, self-starter, keen to learn and curious about acquiring new skills and expertise
•    Excellent communication skills, pro-active in building relationships both internal and external
•    Driven, displays leadership skills, influences others as well as collaborative problem solver;
•    Risk tolerant and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment  


Nice to have


•    Arabic speaker
•    Financial certification(s) / Financial Crime Compliance
•    Previous experience as a compliance consultant
