Role Overview We’re looking for a delay analyst to join our Construction Disputes & Advisory Practice in Singapore . As a Senior Associate, you will support and work alongside some of the most highly regarded industry experts in: + Performing detailed forensic analysis of project data and schedules to determine the cause and extent of construction delays and productivity loss; + Preparing expert reports for domestic and international arbitration and litigation, explaining the delay analysis performed and the results of the analyses; and + Providing advice and strategic solutions to clients on complex challenges faced in construction projects and assisting in the preparation of reports for extension of time, loss and expense, disruption, and prolongation claims. You will work on construction projects across a wide range of industry sectors all over the globe, including oil and gas, building, process plants, power generation, civil infrastructure, and marine projects. Requirements + BSc or BEng in Civil or Mechanical engineering or similar from a leading university. + Have a solid understanding of construction processes, management, and planning. Experience of working in engineering, construction projects or a shipbuilding environment is an advantage. + Have demonstrable knowledge of various planning principles and methods of delay analysis, and able to perform delay analyses independently. + Proficient in using planning tools, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. + Have outstanding and effective writing skills, and experience in writing and preparing claim and/or expert reports for construction disputes. + A post graduate qualification in construction law (or similar) is desirable. + Fluent in English and one other language would be beneficial.
