Senior Associate, Corporate Development


This position is required to be on-site and is located in Loveland, CO.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Development, the position is a key member of the Corporate Development team supporting the end-to-end merger and acquisition process and development of capital projects.  You will be responsible for providing financial and strategic analysis for acquisition, divestiture and investing capital projects, along with management of key processes incorporated within transaction closing.

 

What you will do:
 

Financial Analysis for acquisition, divestiture and capital projects: Provide financial and business analysis to support all aspects of Corporate Development team. Collect, analyze and synthesize internal operating data. Present critical-thinking-driven insights and data clearly and concisely. Assist in the preparation of senior management presentations. Work with legal to formalize confidentiality between parties. Support Corporate Development with acquisition and capital project execution from inception to close: Lead and coordinate closing process, including working capital calculation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to oversee due diligence, transition, and integration process in conjunction with internal departments. Coordinate discussions with acquisition candidate. Assist legal with completion of ancillary closing documents. Facilitate effective communication between Corporate Development, operating segments, and corporate decision makers to promote collaboration and information flow. Keep abreast of current trends and practices in the industry and field of expertise.
 

What you will bring:
 

BS degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or related fields. Enrollment in or completion of a financial designation (i.e., CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, CFA) is desirable, but not mandatory. 5+ years relevant finance, accounting, or economics work experience.  Merger and acquisition experience will be considered an asset. Strong knowledge of financial analysis and working knowledge of GAAP accounting and IFRS. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and willingness to learn and become proficient with other ERP or financial software. Ability to maintain confidentiality and use judgement on when and to whom to share information. Strong organizational and time management skills.  High attention to detail and ability to work independently and periodically lead small teams in the field. Highly motivated, self-starter requiring little supervision. Travel requirements – 10% - 15%.

 

Compensation & Benefits: 
 

Salary Range $87,000 - $161,500/annually. This range is estimated for Senior Associate, Corporate Development in Loveland, Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan and long-term incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.  Details will be discussed through the application process.
