The Corporate Finance team plays an integral role in driving Grab's growth and business strategy through mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, partnerships and capital market transactions.

Get to Know the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate to join our Corporate Finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work on M&A, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and capital market transactions, supporting key corporate initiatives that drive the company's long-term growth.

You will be reporting to the Director of Corporate Finance, working onsite at the Singapore office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

M&A and Investment Analysis – Target screening, financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence for potential acquisitions and strategic investmentsTransaction Execution – Support deal structuring, negotiations, and documentation.Capital Markets & Financing – Assist in financing workstreams, including potentially public or private fundraising efforts.Others - Prepare internal reporting materials (for investment committee materials, board presentations), liaise with other internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction execution.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

Experience: 2-4 years in investment banking, private equity (PE), venture capital (VC), or in-house corporate finance. Completion of relevant analyst and/or associate training programmes.Commercial Understanding: Interest in the technology sector and understanding of industry developments and business models.M&A Experience: Managing due diligence and transaction documentation.Capital Structure Knowledge: Sound understanding of capital structure and corporate finance.Capital Markets Experience: Execution experience with capital markets products.Financial Modelling: Proven experience in building financial models, including operating, valuation and debt modelling.Regional Experience: SEA corporate development and transaction experienceLanguage: Additional fluency in a SEA language
