The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, particularly in Python and Azure Logic/Function Apps, and will excel in providing guidance, mentorship, and support to the team.

You will collaborate on architecting new projects, contribute to the delivery of enterprise-level robust code and automations, and support the development of junior staff and Kadets. This includes participating in code reviews, providing technical direction during design sessions, building code in a templated fashion following existing code patterns, and designing new code when none exists. Sharing best practices through detailed code examples and documentation of processes is also a key part of the role.

Responsibilities: 

Collaborate with IT counterparts across departments to design, build, and validate system integrations. Review co-workers' code before it is deployed to production. Automate repetitive tasks for other departments to improve efficiency. Mentor junior coders to enhance their coding skills. Write and review documentation for procedures and structures.

Required Skills: Minimum 2 years of experience and expertise in Python. Proficiency in working with APIs. Basic networking knowledge. Proven ability to learn and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks from multiple stakeholders. Ability to explain complex technical subjects to non-technical decision makers. Demonstrable analytical and technical aptitude with a focus on identifying and addressing root causes of issues. Proficiency in SQL.

Desirable Skills:
  Experience with Azure Function and Logic Apps, including Durable Functions. Experience with Azure DevOps. Experience with Bash scripting. Familiarity with Typescript  Experience with SIEM, EDR, or other security tools. Understanding of security concepts, including common types of attacks and mitigations. Familiarity with Linux operating systems. Knowledge of Splunk, including SPL. Proficiency in KQL (Kusto Query Language). Experience with Jira.
