Job Profile Summary:
The Senior Associate facilitates the onboarding of third-party data and supports the processes to maintain and procure new content. The Senior Associate will be the first point of contact for the Non-Exchange Licensing and Administration team. Working closely with his/her/their direct manager, members of Data Licensing & Operations as well as internal and external stakeholders, the successful candidate will review all pending non-exchange data requests, ensure products are released on the FactSet platform in a manner that complies with vendor requirements, monitor vendor announcements, ensuring price updates/reporting changes are actioned on appropriately, and participate in data compliance related initiatives as the need arises. He/she/they will be responsible for licensing third party data and answering sales/client questions related to market data licensing. The successful candidate will follow documented procedures and job aides, complete day-to-day operations, and make suggestions on improving processes and efficiency. The candidate will analyze data contracts, supplier price lists, reporting guidelines, and policy change notifications and adapt them to the FactSet data offering, handling basic level inquiries on their own using FactSet’s proprietary systems and escalate as needed.

Job Description/Responsibilities:
60% Facilitate the administration of third party content content acquisition according to business needs by obtaining data licensing deals for FactSet. Act as the liaison between the vendor, FactSet and the FactSet legal team.20% Coordinate onboarding of new FactSet third party data products, ensuring that the content is mapped to the correct license agreement and all reporting requirements are met.10% Identify bottlenecks and compliance concerns and engage the appropriate internal resources to increase efficiency and mitigate company risk.10 % Execute independent projects and related tasks with limited guidance, contributing to and participating in department wide initiatives, and performing other related tasks as required.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degreeFluent in English, both verbally and in written wordExcellent communication skills and the ability to correspond with a diverse group of stakeholders and vendorsPreferably with 3 years of professional experience in global financial markets and market data distributionPreferably has 1 year of experience with market data agreements, contracts, and contract administrationProven ability to read, analyze, and interpret licensing contracts.Strong understanding of finance and procurement processes Minimum 1 year in Associate role or equivalentStrong computer skills including Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, and a willingness to learn FactSet’s Data Licensing and Operations Proprietary systemsExcellent critical thinking skills in solving complex issues.Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle a high volume of tasksWillingness to work in a global organization with team members in different geographic locations
