About the Team
The Marketing Technology Team is responsible for delivering best-in-class tools, data, and processes so teams at DoorDash can effectively acquire new customers, drive retention, and grow new business lines across all our audiences, including Consumers, Dashers, and Merchants. Our mission is to enable teams to deliver personalized, engaging, and relevant content across all our owned and paid channels. We partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics teams to translate Marketing’s technology needs into measurable business outcomes for our Growth and Performance Marketing teams.
About the Role
We’re seeking a talented and driven technical marketer or marketing analyst to support data strategy and operations within the Marketing Technology team. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Performance Marketing team to enable and support critical growth initiatives.
You’ll lead analyses, solve complex problems, and provide strategic recommendations that directly influence our growth initiatives and future marketing strategies. Collaborating across teams—including Analytics, Data Engineering, and Product—you’ll also work with key partners like Google, Meta, Snapchat, and TikTok to test and implement innovative marketing technologies and integrations.
This role will report to the Manager, Measurement & Attribution on our Marketing Technology team within the Growth Marketing organization.

+ Optimize multi-million dollar monthly digital budgets across all performance marketing channels, including Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliate, Display, App Install Campaigns, and Referrals.
+ Improve Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) effectiveness across performance channels by reducing marketing costs and reinvesting to achieve customer acquisition goals.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and BI) to build automated platforms that optimize and deploy spend efficiently across partners.
+ Create new measurement and reporting capabilities to help Performance Marketing teams monitor key metrics, such as budget pacing, LTV, and CAC, across all channels.
+ Apply strong analytical skills to deliver actionable insights from complex datasets.

We’re excited about you because you possess…
+ A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years of experience in finance/management consulting, business operations, growth marketing, marketing analytics, or business analytics.
+ A proven track record as a Performance Marketer, MarTech Specialist, or Data Analyst with strong analytical and technical skills.
+ Proficiency in data processing: Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python (or similar languages) is essential.
+ The ability to leverage SQL and other tools to build data visualizations and dashboards.
+ Experience with web and app tracking/attribution, including hands-on experience with tracking methodologies across digital platforms (e.g., Mobile Measurement Partners, Customer Data Platforms).
+ Familiarity with multi-sided marketplaces (preferred).
+ A deep understanding of key metrics like CPA, CPC, CPM, and LTV, as well as experience managing paid marketing channels (Social, Display, Affiliate, Search, Mobile).
+ Expertise in advertising platforms such as Google and Facebook, along with technical aspects like platform attribution, pixels, app attribution, and APIs.

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
