This Opportunity:
The Palladium Group has an opening for a Senior Associate role
within the Financial Management department. The person in this position will assist
projects and portfolios with monitoring their financial performance,
forecasting and budgeting, validating data and reports for accuracy, improving
current templates and processes, providing relevant financial training, and
performing ad hoc financial requests as needed. Using effective interpersonal,
communication and analytical skills, the incumbent will develop and maintain
strong relationships with colleagues and clients to support healthy business
and leadership goals.
Location and Compensation:
The position is based in Palladium’s
Washington D.C. office.
For our
prospective employees in the United States, please note that the full-time
equivalent annual base salary for this position is expected to range from $65,000 to $70,000. Successful candidates may also be eligible for additional, variable incentive
compensation dependent on the role.

various factors, including but not limited to your qualifications, education,
experience, skills, seniority, performance, and Palladium’s business or
organizational needs.

Reporting Lines:
This position will report to the Director of Financial Management
or his/her Designee.
Primary
Roles and Responsibilities:
The
primary responsibilities of the Financial Management Senior Associate are to:
Provide project operational support as needed, including but not limited to project setup, new charge codes, modifications, and budget reviews.
Assist projects to successfully update Monthly forecasts, troubleshoot any system issues, and work with the project teams and FM to find areas for improvement on forecasting accuracy.
Prepare and conduct trainings on relevant financial topics and processes regularly or as needed.
Continuously identify opportunities to brainstorm and develop new or improved templates, reports, and processes that provide valuable insights, increase efficiency, and build capacity.
Some travel may be required.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential
Criteria:
Strong accounting, business and administration skills.
Quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys challenges and problem-solving and proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement as well as self-improvement to learn new skills that benefit the team or company.
Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills to facilitate leading meetings, presentations and trainings.
Ability to analyze large datasets of financial or other numerical data and prepare reports.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and planning skills.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office – particularly Excel.
Desirable
Criteria:
Knowledge of government contracting, and indirect rates preferred.
Experience with Deltek’s Costpoint preferred.
