Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in people strategy focus on developing and implementing long-term strategies to align the organisation's human capital with its overall business objectives. This involves analysing workforce trends, applying the latest HR strategy, long-term workforce planning and improving overall employee experience.

In business partnering at PwC, you will focus on strategic consulting with business stakeholders, advising on people strategies, policies and programmes to achieve current and future business objectives and overcome people related challenges. You will work collaboratively with the wider HR team to shape the Firm’s people strategy and priorities based on their understanding of the business as well as influence the business alignment with and adoption of firmwide direction.

Main Responsibilities: 

Assist the HRBP Manager in overseeing the assigned Business Unit or Line of Service (LoS) by handling HR responsibilities with a high degree of autonomy; Implement HR matters to comply with laws/ PwC policies and with agreed SLA between HR & business. These include decisions on probation and labor contracts, internship extensions, offboarding, transfers, secondments, overtime cap registrations, long leave arrangements, and return-to-work procedures; Take charge of compiling both routine and ad hoc reports, covering areas such as headcount, attrition rates, movement tracking, personnel costs, and financial reconciliation; Draft clear and effective communications for staff on HR-related topics; Implement the performance management framework within the LoS to foster a culture of high performance; Guide staff through the My Growth Journey (MGJ) process at all levels to address development and improvement areas; Take charge of the initial calculations to build the annual headcount plan and monitor it throughout the year; Take the lead in preparing data for the internship conversion process; Support the annual activities such as: performance review, pay review, budgeting process, goal setting, coach allocation... to ensure it is in line with individual/business performance and within an approved budget; Analyze the GPS results through quantitative and qualitative analysis; support to build action plans to promote the excellent work environment. Establish and manage task forces to monitor the completion of these plans throughout the year; Conduct the My Growth Journey (MGJ) presentations for new hire orientations; Partner with the Line of Service (LoS) to plan and execute staff engagement activities; Promptly address staff inquiries to maintain a high standard of HR service; Lead efforts in both internal and external audits by preparing and providing necessary documentation; Actively participate in projects/initiatives, as needed, including but not limited to the following: HR system development, HR framework evolvement, policy enhancement, ... 

 

Candidate requirements: 

Degree holder in Business Administration, Human Resources or other related business fields. About 4-6 years of HRBP Support / HR Generalist experience.  Experience in the finance industry in MNC companies would be preferred. High sense of data, analytical skills, numerical reasoning and logical thinking. Good problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills. Fast learner, mature, careful and result oriented. Proactive, able to deal with ambiguity and drive things forward. Good design skill and the ability to create effective PPT slides. Fluency in English (both oral and written). Advanced user of office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). Ideally have knowledge of Power BI. Workday, M365 experience is an advantage.
