About the Team
As one of DoorDash’s core operations teams, CXI ensures that when there are bumps in the last mile, there’s always someone there to help make things right. We design, manage, and operate DoorDash’s largest team, aiming to deliver an outstanding customer experience as efficiently and reliably as possible. As a part of that larger CXI team, the Operational Excellence team focuses on reaching and connecting with one of our most important audiences: employees. The role works with senior leaders and cross-functional partners across every part of DoorDash’s business. A roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, meticulous attention to detail, an ability to understand and impact CXI strategies and priorities, a true team spirit, and the ability to juggle projects and competing priorities make this role so effective. This role will require deep expertise in building and nurturing relationships within teams and cross-functionally, communicating effectively with different audiences, and collaborating as a creative contributor and thought partner.
About the Role
The Leadership Development Senior Associate will play a key role in building strong, capable leaders across CXI. This role blends program execution, instructional design, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver engaging leadership development experiences. You’ll work closely with CXI senior leaders, People Business Partners, and the Leadership Development Lead to create and facilitate impactful learning opportunities. From designing content to managing communications, coordinating logistics, and delivering both virtual and in-person sessions, you’ll bring leadership programs to life. Success in this role requires a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

+ Partner closely with CXI senior leadership, People Business Partners and the Leadership Development Program Lead to deliver high-impact leadership training programs.
+ Design, develop, and deliver both virtual and in-person leadership training that aligns with CXI's business goals and leadership strategy.
+ Execute instructional design for leadership learning experiences, including content creation, training materials, assessments, and evaluations.
+ Manage logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, room bookings, calendar invites, and stakeholder coordination.
+ Draft and send communications to leaders and participants regarding training sessions, program updates, and follow-ups.
+ Support continuous improvement of leadership programs through data collection, feedback analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
+ Serve as a dependable collaborator who contributes to program strategy execution in partnership with the Leadership Development Lead and Manager.

+ You have 3+ years of experience in learning & development, instructional design, or leadership training programs.
+ You bring firsthand leadership experience or have supported leaders directly, giving you insight into the challenges and opportunities of people management.
+ You possess an excellent ability to influence people and project management skills, with the ability to inspire while managing multiple time-sensitive projects under tight deadlines.
+ You demonstrate strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with a knack for creating clear and engaging learning content.
+ You know how to build trusted partnerships. You are confident in engaging all levels of internal stakeholders and have a track record of working effectively with senior leadership and a broad range of cross-functional partners.
+ You have familiarity with virtual training platforms (e.g., Zoom, Webex) and Learning Management Systems (LMS), G Suite and Articulate 360.
+ You are detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced constantly changing work environment while managing multiple deadlines simultaneously and pivoting as needed.
+ You are a highly motivated self-starter with the passion to take on more than your daily responsibilities.
+ You’re a team player with a learner’s mindset and a passion for leadership development.
+ You enjoy problem-solving and the opportunity to think outside of the box.
