Critical to the progress of Ceres’ mission, this team leads initiatives to curate a culture of inclusion and belonging while diligently attending to the workforce needs of Ceres.     About the Role The People & Diversity (P&D) Team is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Associate to provide administrative and project coordination support for our People & Diversity team. This role will assist in tracking human resources, benefits, and learning initiatives and programs while supporting effective communication and project execution across the organization.   The ideal candidate will combine strong administrative and organizational capabilities with excellent communication skills, strong initiative, decision-making, and attention to detail. They should be comfortable coordinating multiple projects while providing reliable support to project teams across the organization. Proven ability to handle confidential information required.    This role reports to the Chief People and Diversity Officer and can be performed remotely or from the Boston, MA office. Candidates must be flexible to work with employees in all US time zones.   Specific duties include but are not limited to the following: Support various P&D project teams by tracking key milestones, deadlines, and deliverables for P&D initiatives such as, system implementations, open enrollment, performance review cycles, and promotional periods. Monitor project progress and provide regular follow-up with team members to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and escalate as appropriate. Lead data gathering and input for team milestone reporting for annual planning. Assist in implementing internal communication plans for P&D programs, partnering with Internal Communications Manager, ensuring communications are distributed via appropriate platforms and according to established timelines. Compile and organize data to support team analysis and reporting needs. Under direction of Chief People & Diversity Officer, draft and coordinate written communications regarding merit increases and promotions. Assist with new employee orientation programs through administrative support and occasional presentation delivery. Maintain project documentation and status updates. Schedule and coordinate project meetings, capturing and distributing action items. Provide supplemental calendar support to the Chief People & Diversity Officer, ensuring priority meetings are scheduled and helping to optimize calendar management. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience required; degree in a related field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analysis, Communications, or similar preferred. Minimum three (3) years of relevant full-time experience required; experience in operations or administrative support roles preferred. Experience supporting executive calendars and understanding of calendar prioritization preferred. Experience in human resources, including benefits administration or HRIS, is highly preferred. Experience with project coordination and timeline tracking for organization-wide initiatives. Excellence in organization, follow-through, and attention to detail. Strong time management and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Professional communication style and interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of staff. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Ability to anticipate needs and prioritize competing demands. Strong judgment in managing time-sensitive matters. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with Salesforce and Smartsheet preferred. Willingness to travel as needed. Compensation and Benefits   
The hiring salary is $58,656 - $67,600 with competitive benefits (Pay Grade 13). Ceres offers fantastic benefits including opportunities for hybrid and remote work; 82% or 85% (depending on your coverage election) employer paid health insurance and 90% employer paid dental insurance; a 403(b) retirement plan with a generous match that starts on day one; generous allowances for commuter and work from home expenses; flexible spending accounts to set aside money on a pre-tax basis for eligible expenses; 10 holidays, generous vacation, and additional paid time off including a week-long winter break, summer Fridays, and sick, personal, and parental leave.
