Kroll Restructuring practice aims to provide effective solutions to its clients. Our clients include major banks, asset based lenders, private equity houses, accountants, solicitors, financial sponsors, lenders, creditors, corporates and individuals.  We are tasked with assuming direct responsibility for organisations in distressed situations across virtually every industry and every situation.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as Senior Associate in Hong Kong. You will be involved in a wide range of interesting and challenging deals, often spanning multiple jurisdictions. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills in insolvency, restructuring and litigation support through exposure to working with lenders, investors, companies and their advisors in distressed and urgent situations.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Associate you will take risks and adopt change to solve problems. You will be a team player and have innovative ideas in our Restructuring business.

High-profile insolvency and restructuring assignments and investigations and complex cross-border matters;  Assisting with day-to-day management of engagements such as financial and operational restructuring, official and voluntary liquidations, other formal and informal insolvency and restructuring procedures;  Compiling and analyzing books and records, conducting an inventory of assets and dealing with claims of creditors Performing cash-flow forecast, financial analysis and financial investigations Drafting sections of detailed, complex reports and documents for Courts, creditors and stakeholders; and Monitoring progress and ensuring completion of client work to statutory and client deadlines

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; CA and/or CPA qualification preferred A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in restructuring/ forensic accounting/ insolvency advisory field; Driven, displays leadership skills, influences others as well as collaborative problem solver; Risk tolerant and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment  Good business sense and a proactive, can-do attitude; Ability to practically apply knowledge to identify issues and solve complex problems;  Strong financial, business analytical and report writing skills; and Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
