As a Senior Specialist, Total Rewards, you will be a key contributor to ensure exceptional customer and employee experiences. The successful candidate will support various topics which can include: the oversight of the call experience with our main benefit administration vendor, manage employee, retiree, UAW and Union Benefit Representative escalations, and act as a liaison for various vendor relationships. This position requires strong communication skills with a focus on empathy, analytical, and project management skills, as well as a deep understanding of customer service best practices and employee relations. This role is housed within the Benefits Operations team, reporting to the Retirement Operations Manager.

Minimum 5 years of work experience with a Master’s degree or 8 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Total Rewards or a related field. Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree (preferred) in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience. Exceptional communication (written and verbal), empathy, and interpersonal skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, project management, and change management skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and independently. Benefit Administrator Call Center Experience and Customer Oversight: Manage and oversee benefit call center projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards Conduct benefit call center representative calibrations and call listening to identify areas for improved customer interactions and experiences, ensuring Ford values are clearly represented. Develop and implement strategies to improve call center performance based on KPI analysis Provide enhanced customer service when additional support is needed beyond vendor care for critical cases, role modeling Ford’s behaviors Employee and Retiree Escalation Management: Manage and track salaried and hourly employee and retiree escalations, ensuring timely and accurate resolution; connect with impacted participants to provide a positive customer experience Work with vendors and key stakeholders to Identify trends and support implementation as required to prevent future escalations UAW & Union Benefit Representative (UBR) Relations: Organize and lead the UAW, benefit vendor and Ford stakeholder meetings focusing on escalation tracking, call center updates and various projects Support and conduct Union Benefit Representative (UBR) training as required Coordinate the benefit administration vendor annual Quality Operating System review Handle escalations from UAW Benefits Leadership and Union Benefit Representatives, ensuring timely resolution United Way Campaign Liaison: Act as the liaison between Vendor and the Ford United Way team Oversee vendor, manage vendor relationship, and comply with Ford’s security and control requirements Vendor Oversight and Management: Manage and oversee various benefit vendors; contracting, performance metrics, daily oversight Conduct quarterly audits of vendor access requests Fraud Case Management: Oversee and track fraud cases, ensuring appropriate action is taken Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional business partners, including benefit administrator, Human Resource Business Partners, the People First team, and other stakeholdersInvolves working on-site minimal three days
