Senior Associate, Valuation Services

We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our Valuation Services practice within our Financial Advisory business unit. 

 

Our Valuation Services practice prepares objective valuations for financial reporting, tax planning and reporting, management planning, and general strategic advisory purposes.

 

Day-to-day responsibilities:

Perform in-depth industry, market, and competitor research and valuation analysis for a wide range of clients, including both publicly-traded and privately-held entities, using all accepted valuation approaches and theory Interview clients and design financial models for the valuation of businesses, assets, including both intangible and tangible, equity securities and liabilities. Prepare valuations using the following approaches, among others: income, market, cost and option pricing analyses. Oversee the analysis and quality control processes for valuation engagements. Prepare narrative and executive level reports outlining data pertinent to engagements, market research, key assumptions and methodologies leading to valuation conclusions. Present analyses and reports containing valuation findings. Monitor changing regulations in the financial reporting and tax landscape, all of which may have valuation implications

 

Essential traits:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or MBA Minimum 2 years of preparing and reviewing valuation models and other financial models including: discount cash flows, comparable companies, stock options, and intangible asset models Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills that help represent diverse communities Knowledge of software packages including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience working with diverse teams
