Senior Associate – Lighting Design
Location: New York, NY

Key Responsibilities: Represent the firm at meetings and events when leadership is unavailable Participate in industry networking to expand the firm's presence and potential client base Lead and manage multiple projects, overseeing design, construction, and project documentation Develop and mentor junior staff, providing feedback and professional development guidance Ensure compliance with industry regulations and codes, staying current with lighting trends Manage office operations, including IT and quality control processes Assist with business development activities, including proposal creation and client presentations Supervise project teams, ensuring on-time, on-budget project delivery Attend meetings during all project phases and oversee final installations
Skills and Experience: Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail Excellent communication and project management skills Ability to lead and inspire teams in a collaborative environment Proficiency in lighting design software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, and lighting calculation tools 5+ years of experience in lighting design or a related field, with a professional degree preferred Experience in creating and managing detailed design documentation and presentationsThis is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to make an impact within a highly respected lighting design firm, fostering both creative and operational growth.
