What is the opportunity?
RBC Dominion Securities downtown Vancouver Main branch is currently seeking a licensed Senior Associate for a Chairman’s Council Team.
The successful candidate will possess 5+ years of investment industry experience, a passion for service excellence, thrive in a fast-paced team environment and be securities licensed. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative needs for top clients and have a unique opportunity for leadership, mentorship, and skill development as they will lead the administrative team.
This is an exciting and challenging role in one of the largest branches in the firm. The ability to learn and grow in this role is vast.
What will you do?
Provide world class client service to our valued clientsWork closely with Investment Advisor to ensure efficient business processesLead administrative team by example and through consultation, collaboration and teamworkCompletion and monitoring of client documentation and day-to-day cashflow/transfer needsFollow-up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and deliveryMaintain client accounts by reviewing daily activity online and on applicable reportsUtilize contact management system for daily task managementBook client meetings and maintain daily schedule of Investment AdvisorInvestigate and resolve inquiries related to accountsWhat do you need to succeed?
Must-have
The ideal candidate should have at least 5+ years of experience in the investment field working as Senior Sales Assistant / Client Service Associate / Associate / etc.Successful Completion of CSC & CPH and Investment Representative (“IR”) licenseStrong time management and organizational skillsMeticulous attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishDemonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clientsExperience using Microsoft OfficeResident of the greater Vancouver area and legally able to work in CanadaNice-to-have
