At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.In quantitative tax solutions and technologies at PwC, you will focus on leveraging data analytics and technology to develop innovative tax solutions. In this field, you will use quantitative methods to optimise tax processes and enhance decision-making for clients.
Application Support Engineer is responsible for system support, problem escalation and resolution for the applications. This position is also accountable for system testing, documentation and communication between business users, clients, business analysts and developers.
Job description
Provide technical support and on-going services to end-users via ServiceNow and YouTrack.
Acts as a liaison between the users, business analysts and developers.
Participate in requirement analysis, workflow analysis and review session.
Coordinate with cross functional teams for issues not resolved at L1/L2 level.
Participation in daily scrum meetings and global cross-meetings.
Have basic knowledge on data mapping to facilitate data integration or data migration through different applications and services.
Creates and maintain deployment documentation including release notes, deployment guides and user manuals.
Performs regression testing and assist with deployment activities.
Opportunity to work on the design and deployment of no-code applications (training will be provided).

Requirements
Recognized University Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related discipline.
3+ years of working experience in application/customer support role.
Good analytical skills, ability to multitask and prioritize.
Ability to work independently on individual assignments and collectively with a team on larger projects.
Good attention to detail in writing to ensure high quality work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and effective interaction with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Flexible to work extended hours when needed to meet project deadlines.
Openness to learning new technologies and methodologies as it evolves.
Those with work experience must have the following:
Knowledge of ITIL standard methodologies (ITIL foundation certification would be an advantage).
Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with ServiceNow platform.
Basic knowledge of SQL Server.
