Conduct branch audits, accounting control assessments and balance sheet reviews for assigned entities
Follow-up and close SOX issue tickets in a timely manner.
Perform Gap assessment & control testing
Ability to travel approximately 25% of time
What You Will Need to be Successful:
Requires 3-4 years of experience in general accounting and internal control functions.
Minimum 2-4 experience with SOX controls testing/Auditing.
Strong understanding of SOX & Auditing Concepts & Principles
Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills
Proven analytical and trouble-shooting skills, identify solutions to resolve simple to complex problem.
Drive innovation as you contribute to improving the overall control environment
Required qualifications:
Certified Public Accountant, Business Administration or related career with strong knowledge in Accounting & Controls
Bilingual (English B2+ & Portuguese) and Spanish is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong data analysis skills (Power BI, Query etc.)
JDE Accounting software experience a plus
