Senior Associate - Database Analyst, Pension Plan Administration

Aon is looking for a Senior Database Analyst for our implementation team within pension administration. The team collaborates with internal teams and/or client teams to implement and support solutions for clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a data analyst looking to familiarize with pension administration OR an experienced pension administration colleague with proven data management abilities. This is a hybrid role working both virtually and from our Montreal office. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. What the day will look like The Senior Data Analyst will be analyzing, documenting, mapping, coding and loading data into Aon's proprietary Pension and Benefits Administration systems based on client requirements. They will also be testing the data loading and debugging issues/defects before data is moved to production. They will also be: Working on the different aspects of the Extraction Transformation Landing (ETL) process Reviewing the project requirements to ensure completeness of requirements from a design and testing perspective Recovering data tables and coding scripts to convert legacy databases to a new system Documenting data integrity reports (reconciliation/validation) Identifying and fixing database issues Leading all aspects of day-to-day work per priorities Building reports How this opportunity is different Our highly collaborative team drives innovation through ideas and implementation of solutions that allow an enhanced digital member experience and more efficient internal processing. Skills and experience that will lead to success Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, or equivalent work experience in an analytical area Excellent understanding of database structures (tables, temporary tables, storing procedures, user operations) Pension work experience desired Strong computer skills (Excel, Word) Ability to interpret and understand requirements documentation Is analytical, organized and proactive Keen attention to detail French / English bilingualism required due to frequent interactions with clients, colleagues, or partners based in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and/or internationally.
