How will you make an impact in this role?

This Senior Associate Product Manager will be passionate about digital product development and will work with partners across Technology, Operations, Product, Data Science, Analytics and Marketing to identify and deliver new features that could drive scale on the platform, increase Merchant and Cardmember satisfaction and drive revenue. The analyst will learn about a wide variety of partner conditions and be able to drive thoughtful and innovative strategies based on realistic expectations and an understanding of what it takes to bring products and capabilities to life.

The ideal candidate for this role will inspire multiple stakeholders and key business partners about the potential of our product, develop creative solutions to meet each market’s needs and support the ongoing growth of Amex Offers. They will be a skillful communicator who enjoys a fast-paced environment, operates cross-functionally (both with business and technology stakeholders), and maintains a positive attitude and sense of humor in the face of challenges. This role reports to Senior Manager, Amex Offers Product Development based in London.

Responsibilities:

Closely collaborate with Technology, Merchant and Consumer Services, Compliance, Legal, Brand and Product Teams to drive and influence the Amex Offers Roadmap, by communicating the product vision and high-level business needs/problems. Articulate and breakdown complex business problems and identify impact across various platforms, systems of record, and teams, to deliver scalable and innovative capabilities. Ensure all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures. Manage Product Operational Risk Events and Corrective Action Plans, liaising with multiple teams across the organisation to implement fixes and remediations Manage all stakeholders across multiple timezones (US, AU, UK, and more), streamline, and standardize process, drive process efficiencies, lead adhoc projects and adhoc requests, mobilize the team and drive customer satisfaction. Closely collaborate with Technology, Merchant and Consumer Marketing Teams, Compliance, Legal, Brand and others to communicate the product vision and high-level business needs for enhancements Manage team reporting and documentation around key feature launches, backlog maintenance, and program increment planning Maintain metrics and key performance indicators to manage the product, including ownership of product newsletter and scorecard for key stakeholders and leadership Contribute strategic insights & forward-thinking ideas to continuously evolve and improve the product offering and value proposition Understand the current offers competitive landscape and identify ways to drive incremental enrollments and redemptions Identify opportunities to leverage Amex Offers to meet the needs of our Customers (Merchants and Card Members)

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree Minimum of 2+ years professional experience Strong written & verbal communication skills. You’re able to articulate the reasons behind your work and bring others along with you. The skills stretch from writing customer journey narratives and mocking up wireframes to share with engineers to inspiring go to market teams with our strategy and roadmap. Strong collaboration & relationship skills – we are relationship-oriented company, that values diverse perspectives. You will be the evangelist for the strategy and roadmap but won’t be successful without bringing others along with you. Your ability to listen deeply, contextualise your insights are essential to achieving the best outcomes. Interest in technology, digital products, an insatiable curiosity and proven ability to learn. The spirit of an entrepreneur with an ability to contribute to product design, project management and technical ideas. Your job doesn't end with your job description. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with competing resources and priorities, through the product life cycle from planning and development, through to launch Management Consulting experience desirable
