The role will require you to ensure that a high level of technical, financial and commercial control is maintained on projects. **A little more about your role…** + Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying on projects from inception to completion + Tender and appoint the construction team + Attend design team meetings, produce tender documentation + Develop cost plans + Review tender returns, authorise application of payment, risk analysis, valuation certificate production + Administer contracts + Prepare financial reports + Agree final accounts and produce associated documentation + Participate in value engineering workshops and analyse findings + Leading our team of Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers in Wales and the South. **What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…** + Experience of working on education, commercial, health or defence projects in the UK or overseas + Ability for being a team player + Experience of working in highly motivated teams + Expertise and a working knowledge of NEC 3 or 4 and JCT + Experience using cost management tools such as Cost X or similar + Experience using contract management tools such as Acone, CEMAR or similar + Experience of providing Project Controls services + Experience in working in team delivery, and are willing extend your knowledge and experience through working in a highly motivated and competent team + Experience of leading teams and mentoring staff + Management of projects including resourcing and financial performance + Bid management experience including preparation of quality submissions and fee proposals. + Chartered Membership of RICS or other professional body + BSc (Hons) in related degree + Excellent oral and written communication skills, good planning and organising skills together with strong time management skill and team working + A full driving licence **Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.** Join our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
