Within Digital Operations Consulting, you’ll be able to learn and build on a variety of business skills that'll serve you throughout your career. Our team is composed of subject matter experts across a variety of industries including: Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods, Food/Beverage, Telecommunications, and Transportation & Logistics. We specialize in end-to-end Connected Supply Chain solutions, with deep expertise in Distribution Center Design & Automation and Logistics.

As a Digital Operations Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead and drive work for end-to-end DC Assessment and Fulfillment Optimization projectsLead and drive work for end-to-end Distribution Center (DC) transformation engagements focused on evaluating current state, identifying improvement opportunities including automation, preparation of transformation business cases, overseeing design of future state including AutoCAD/Revit layouts and implementation of the chosen solution.Drive the assessment and implementation of DC related software package implementations such as WMS, YMS and TMS. This includes requirements gathering, vendor RFI / RFP, vendor demonstrations and technology selection and/or implementation.Ability to use client data such as sales volume, SKU count, growth etc. to perform analytics such as pre-slotting and cubing to determine future sizing of the distribution centerAbility to work with the draft person to create future state DC layouts in AutoCAD/Revit 3D including location of mobile and fixed MHE based on pre-slotting informationAssist clients in the identification of potential automation technology solutions, justified by the business case, which could help enable supply chain excellence (e.g. Dematic, Witron, Knapp, SSI-Schaeffer etc.)Ability to work with the client team to create required business cases to justify the proposed design to client executive steering committeesAbility to create transition plans to assist in the overall business transformation strategyEnd-to-end fixed and mobile Material Handling Equipment (MHE) experience including conventional racking, automation, mobile equipment etc.Engage and work alongside client key stakeholders to gain input and buy-in to strategy development and to influence and execute the action plansExperiences and skills you’ll use to solve
Extensive experience in DC Design & Automation advisory & implementation while in a consulting roleAdept experience in the implementation of software packages such as WMS, YMS and TMSIn-depth understanding of supply chain processes and associated value drivers and frameworksIn-depth experience of analytical tools such as Alteryx and/or SASDesign and interpretation experience using CAD tools such as AutoCAD/Revit 3D etc.Engineering degree in a related discipline such as industrial engineering is a plus.Knowledge in business process improvement techniques, including Lean will be considered an asset.Exceptional people, project and change management skillsWorking knowledge of project management tools such as MS-ProjectStrong understanding of related disciplines, including supply chain strategy, demand/supply planning, order management, procurement/sourcing, and manufacturing would be an assetStorytelling and storyboarding skills to drive client deliverablesWorking knowledge of microsoft tools such as MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, PowerBIStrong understanding of related disciplines, including supply chain strategy, demand/supply planning, order management, procurement/sourcing, and manufacturing would be an assetAnalytical thinking and problem solving skills to summarize findings and derive insights in a succinct and comprehensive manner.Strong communication skills - written and verbal with usage of Google and MS toolsStorytelling and storyboarding skills to drive deliverable development.Ability to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based project environment.
