Senior Associate Employment Solicitor BCL Legal is working with a leading regional law firm in Northampton to recruit an experienced Employment Solicitor. The firm is seeking individuals with a range of experience, including those with around 3 years PQE, who are looking to join as a Senior Associate. Role Overview: The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, primarily for employer clients. The firm works with a diverse range of clients, including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, listed companies, and employees. Responsibilities will include: Advising on large-scale restructuring, changes to terms and conditions of employment, and redundancy exercises. - Providing strategic advice in connection with Boardroom/SMT disputes. - Advising on operational HR matters and data protection compliance. - Assisting with Modern Slavery Act compliance. - Representing clients in employment tribunals. - Supporting M&A transactions with employment law input, such as Settlement Agreements. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work on cross-departmental projects with the firm's Corporate & Commercial, Commercial Litigation, and Commercial Property teams. Growth and Development: The firm is open to candidates with 3 years PQE, who can join directly at the Senior Associate level. There is a clear pathway for further progression, with many of the firm's current partners having started their careers here and advanced to Head of Team or Board-level positions. As a Senior Associate, you will be encouraged to contribute to the firm's strategy, including involvement in budgeting, recruitment, marketing, and business development.
